Holiday On Mars* - Terri Jones 2006

Tetraploid, 20" E sev 5.5"

A striking bitone soft orange with deeper orange band, lighter orange sepals, all segments sport a distinct light midrib. The segments are long but not spidery, with gentle ruffles and curled sepals, and a gold to green throat. Holiday On Mars* gives an appealing show - always attracts attention. I break two rules of mine by introducing this one: It doesn't rebloom, or if it does it is immediate. And it is too short for my taste. But it is so nice a plant and flower that I couldn't help it.
